Entertain your younger kids with this fun Star Wars themed Memory Game.
With my youngest child being only 3 I have been trying to think of easy to play game printables that he would enjoy. While my older kids love activity sheets like mazes and word searches my youngest struggles with them. He does ok with BINGO, but I wanted to create something else he could enjoy and be good at. That’s when I thought about the classic Memory matching game. The rules and gameplay are easy and its developmentally engaging. Even better all my kids enjoy this game (especially my 3-year-old.)
Since we have been on a Star Wars kick this week thanks to Star Wars day and the new Star Wars Han Solo movie coming out this month, I decided it would be fun to create a Star Wars themed memory game to offer here in addition to the other Star Wars printable we recently made available (and the ones I am still designing,)
This Matching memory game has 48 pieces or 28 matching sets for your kids to play with. This way they can play one big game, break up into groups to play smaller games or just which up which cards they are using to keep it fun.

This file comes as a standard PDF file that is ready to print at home or your local copy center. I recommend printing onto sturdy cardstock to allow the pieces to hold up during the gameplay. If you wish to have the game last longer, then I recommend laminating the pieces after you cut them out.
The printable game can either be printed one sided or double sided ( so they have a fun designed back) if you prefer. There are instructions for how to print them out.
